T'bus
Taking the bus to work or school, going shopping, attending a medical appointment, heading to the swimming pool or the conservatory —
now it’s possible in Thouars.
Since November 3, two free bus routes have been operating in the town centre from Monday to Saturday!
Hourly Departures
These bus routes run Monday to Friday throughout the day, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Saturday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• One departure every hour from Vrines or from the hospital towards the town centre and the Grand Rosé business park.
• The two routes intersect between Place du Boël, the train station, and Grand Rosé, providing a combined frequency of every 30 minutes along this shared section.
Vehicles
Two 29-seat minibuses (seated and standing) equipped with wheelchair spaces, an accessibility ramp, and priority seating for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) make it easier for everyone to get around.
These vehicles run on BioCNG and refuel at the local station, contributing to more environmentally friendly transport.
Changing Habits
Since the start of the September term, the Mobility Service of the Thouarsais Community of Communes has been available to help you understand and get used to this new bus service. Information sessions and discussion meetings can be organised to support you.
Feel free to request a group information session at a community venue, association, or company by contacting :
